We visited Turkey again during our last buying trip November 2014; photos below are from our travels...
One of our favorite parts of the trip was riding one of the Sehir Hatlari Istanbul ferries along the Bosphorus River.  You might recognize the crossed anchor logos in some of the photos below as one of the salvaged pieces we just got in.  You might also recognize some of the ship doors used on board the ferry still in operation - they're very similar to those we've salvaged from other passenger ships...

above left: "Sehir Hatlari" is the Turkish Ferry Line with the crossed anchor logo; on board, you can see the liferings around the deck of the ferry with the binocular set, Michael standing next to one of the sets of double portole doors, and when open you can see into the parlor of the ferry.

above left to right: the "funnel" of the ferry line with mast in background, postlight above the shipping line flag, the ship's bow bell and the rear of the searchlight (note: onboard it is painted; we typically have the brass and copper pieces stripped and polished after we salvage them), and the yellow cowling or air vent on the port bow of the ship.

left to right: main door to the bridge; note the passageway light to the top right and the elevated location of the door from the deck, another shot into one of the parlors on board, the clear double stacked stern light (note: this is a newer ship, so they've used fiberglass for the navigational lights rather than brass or copper fixtures which are more expensive), and on the right a beautiful mahogany hand rail; we've had a few of these in the shop as well - they're great for residential use too!
