 SHIP TELEPHONES

Sound powered phones have been used on ships since the 1950s, allowing communication on board between key locations
on the vessel even if external power is not available, hence the manual crank knob. 
The receiver is tethered to accommodate for rough seas.
Very unique pieces that are difficult to source.
